November this year is coming around with a bang, shooting all our pennies out of our pockets!
Not only do we have a H&M collaboration being launched with the wonderful Alexander Wang, but Adidas has just announced that they will be teaming up with the Queen of prints Mary Katrantzou - she has entered the fashion world from studying at Central Saint Martins being spotted for her Spring/Summer 2011 collection and from then on, as a designer, she has just gone from strength to strength. Making kaleidoscope and colourful patterns her signature.
Adidas have been attracting many different target audiences through their collaborations with Jeremy Scott, Topshop, Pharrell Williams etc, which is making them more than a sportswear brand, they are now known as a fashionable brand as they expand their product ranges, especially with the ultimate Sports Luxe trend becoming bigger and bigger, Adidas is trendy, yes it is.
'I'm really excited to be working with Adidas on a line of apparel and footwear'. Katrantzou told us this morning. 'I grew up, like so many other kids around the world, wearing Adidas sneakers and I'm really excited about bringing my vision to such a global brand. They have a fantastic heritage and their ability to innovate in sportswear makes them the perfect partner for us to work with in this market' - Mary Katrantzou.
Being both a lover of Mary Katrantzou and Adidas, I am so excited for this collection, and to make it even better, it's being launched the same month of my birthday! Street wear is meeting High fashion which makes me believe that this line will be something near perfect. Check it out HERE!
