Easter Haul

So this weekend I have both been spoilt and naughty - my mum came up and brought me some goodies from home, whilst we were shopping around my little sister bought me a couple of bits, and yes, I was a little naughty and treated myself! But they were bargains, so I guess it's not too bad eh!

Anyway, this is my very first haul post - Easter Haul! All new garments from this weekend spent with my family. Looking through these photos earlier, it just shows how varied my style is, I don't really have a certain personal style but I create personal styles from outfits? not sure if that's good or bad, I just like everything and anything! But here are my newest additions to my wardrobe..

Navy Blue Bomber Jacket, £10 - Primark (Men's)
This was on sale from £19, I couldn't resist, it's a jacket I've
wanted for a while now, just a warm but light jacket I can wear
in both Winter days and cool Summer nights - a bit of a bargain
really. It's a nice fit and will add a bit of edge to some outfits.

Navy Chiffon Floral Blouse, £3.25 - Cancer Research
Charity Shop
Perfect for Summer, this season I really want to get into
the boho chic style, it's lazy, comfortable and looks stunning!
Taking inspiration from Sienna Miller and Vanessa Hudgens,
think this little number starts my boho chic Summer wardrobe well
in a discreet way with it's dark colours.

Retro Paint Floral Print Blouse, £4.75 -
Cancer Research Charity Shop
Just call me 'Fresh Prince of Bel air'..
This shirt is just amazing in my eyes, the colours,
the print and the size too! It's an over sized patterned
shirt which I thought would brighten up my wardrobe
a little (actually quite a lot!), looking like it just jumped out
of 'Fresh Prince'. I love the style and clothes in that show
so anything that can be incorporated with it, I love
and will most probably buy! Like this vibrant number.
High Waisted Denim Pencil Skirt, £7 - Primark
I'm not usually a pencil skirt fan, because I like to wear
stuff that's practical but I couldn't resist this skirt at such
a bargain price! Anything acid wash is definitely for me,
I love the grunge look (as well as many other looks) so with
this skirt I thought it just feminizes the grunge, and I'm all about
changing looks or feminizing looks too! I could wear it during the day
or on a night out, it's just something different to add to my wardrobe.

Distressed T-shirt, £4 - Primark
Bought plainly for comfort and the fact I need more plain tees
cause I've just got so much print. My boyfriend has the men's
version of this and it's the most comfortable t-shirt. I want the
pink one too, so many colours at Primark, officially the best shop.
Make this a home tee or going out tee, it can look grunge during
the day but can also be a bedtime tee. Perfectly practical!
Vintage Levi's 501's, £12 - Braderie Vintage Shop, Nottingham
With my old 'mummy jeans' shrinking in the wash, I just had to
get new ones, but I didn't think this soon. My family were actually
looking for my little sister but then (easily distracted me) I found these,
and they fit perfectly and are so comfortable! These jeans are an
all-rounder, I am so happy with them. Create a retro/vintage look
with them or modernize these classic vintage jeans, I think
everybody should own a pair of 'mummy jeans' and mix and match styles!

Total = £41 for 6 items, gotta love bargains!

TREATS FROM THE MOTHER

Palm Tree Print Bomber Jacket, £7.99 -
Charity Shop (Originally from RI)
My mum knows I'm hyping over anything pink and
also my love for patterned things, so when I saw this,
I was just in love! A summery urban jacket, with the very
on trend Palm Tree print. Even though it's 4 sizes too big for me,
it actually fits quite well and the sleeves are short so it doesn't look
the wrong size which is always a plus! The jacket is girly but cause it's
a bomber jacket, it could look very edgy and urban depending on
how it was styled together as an outfit. I think I will stick to plain outfits
and make this the statement of the outfits. Also another bargain!
Navy Slouch Dress, £15.99 - Zara
My mum called this an item which can be
part of my 'lazy styling' section of my wardrobe.
Originally bought for herself but it was too
'lazy' so I'm glad I got this cute slouchy dress.
With accessories such as a fedora hat, long necklace,
waist belt etc, a plain lazy dress can become quite
sophisticated. This is a day dress but can be styled
so many different ways, which I definitely will fun doing.

Striped Polka Dot Midi Skirt, £5.99 - Charity Shop
(Originally from Topshop)
I have a weak spot for midi skirts, even though my
legs aren't even long, I love them and will wear them anyway.
My mum obviously knows this when she bought me this,
another item which I fell in love, I especially love the print on this,
and how the fact it's based around a grey scale colour palette, makes
it look grunge. Since when did polka dots look grunge, but this is
cute grunge. Same with the jacket, I'd make this the statement piece
of my outfit and style it around plain things. This is the reason why
I love charity shops, so many bargains for items which would have
cost double or even triple the price it's being sold in the Charity shop!

Web Floral, Wide Leg Jumpsuit, £16.99 - TK Maxx
First thing my mum bought me in Nottingham, I've had my eye
on this at work for ages, but never realised there was a size small,
until I saw somebody try this on but not like it! That was it, I put it aside
for myself and my lovely mother decided to buy it for me, can't imagine
how happy I was! It's that blue which I'm starting to really like, and apparently
suits my skin tone, silk and wide leg.. all things great in a jumpsuit! I bought it
for my holiday but I've already worn it cause I couldn't resist wearing it!

I wore it out for dinner with my family, our last supper before they went
home today.

Me and my beautiful mother :)
